Mr. and Mrs. M.M. Linker and daughter spent Saturday in Charlotte with Miss Sarah Ellen Linker, who is a student at Queen’s College.

Mr. and Mrs. Jim Robinson and daughter, of Chester, S.C., spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Julius Fisher.
Mr. and Mrs. Sam Midson, John and Ortho Straine, of Charlotte, spent several hours in the city Sunday. Mrs. John Straine, who has been the guest of Mrs. W.C.J. Caton, accompanied them home.
Mrs. H.Y. Galloway and children, of Derita, were the guests of Mrs. Galloway’s sister, Miss Lola Query, over the week-end.
Mrs. L.V. Grady left Friday afternoon for her home in Raleigh after visiting her mother, Mrs. W.L. Widenhouse.
Mr. and Mrs. Albert Johnson and Mr. and Mrs. T.B. Sturgis attended the Shriners’ ceremonies in Charlotte Friday.
Mrs. Paul Moose and children are spending the week-end in Mt. Pleassant with Mrs. A.W. Moose.
D.B. Coltrane is attending the meeting of the Federal Council of Churches now in session in Atlanta.
Mrs. W.L. Little and Miss Grice Baird spent Friday afternoon in Charlotte. George Wall, William Blake and A.N. Lentz attended a stag supper given by Ray Lentz in Albemarle last night.
Mrs. J.P. Cook and Mrs. R.M. King are attending the executive meeting of the Kings Daughters which is being held in Durham this week. Also Mrs. Richard Williams of Greenville, N.C., and Miss Esdale Shaw of Rockingham.
Rev. G.W. Rollins of Sampson county is in the city today. Mr. Rollins was formerly pastor of the McGill Street Baptist Church of Concord.
Miss Zana Stroupe is spending the week-end in Charlotte with relatives.
Mrs. Homer Long and little daughter left this morning for their home in Knoxville, Tenn., after spending a week at the home of Prof. and Mrs. J.W.B. Long on South Union street.
Mr. and Mrs. R.P. Heglar attended the funeral of Mr. Heglar’s father, Mr. S.M. Hagler in Matthews Friday.
