High Point Drawing Up Plans for New Orphanage, Dec. 24, 1924

Plans Being Made for Junior Order Home

High Point, Dec. 24—Architects of this city are working on the final plans for five of the buildings to be erected at the Lexington as the National Junior Order Orphan’s Home, it has been announced here. The National Council of the Junior O.U.A.M. and the North Carolina State Department of that fraternity are cooperating in the erection of the home.

The first payment by the North Carolina department to the funds for the home was made some weeks ago, it was said, and other funds are expected from this state soon.
