Vance Morgan Executed for Murder of Butler Funderburk, Dec. 25, 1924

Vance Morgan, negro, of Union county was electrocuted Friday on the charge of murdering Butler Funderburk, a storekeeper of that county. Morgan was convicted on circumstantial evidence but confessed to his spiritual advisor before going to his death.
