In Judge G.M. Beam's Court, July 3, 1925

Journegan Demands Jury. . . Two Suspended Sentences Imposed. . . Other Cases Dispossed Of in Recorder’s Court Monday—Good Crowd in Attendance

Quite a large crowd was in attendance upon Recorder’s Court Monday and heard Judge G.M. Beam dispose of the following cases:

State vs H.J. Journegan, distilling, jury demanded, continued to Monday, July 6th.

State vs Moses Chavis, distilling, guilty, 12 months on roads, execution not to issue until further orders of the Court, upon payment of a fine of $20 and costs.

State vs Ernest Shepherd, jumping board bill, nol pros with leave.

State vs Will Hart, upw, continued.

State vs Thomas Tharrington, adw, guilty, fined $25 and costs.

State vs Jeff Webb, l and r, pleads guilty, 12 months on roads, execution not to issue until further orders of this Court upon payment of $7.50 to prosecuting witness and costs.

State vs Laura Bell Alston, nuisance, pleads guilty, judgment suspended upon payment of costs.

State vs Ortho Clifton, disposing of mortgaged property, nol pros.
