Clinton, July 5—Mrs. John Alexander Stevens announces the engagement of her daughter, Margaret, to Mr. Horace Bernard Eason of Asheville, N.C. the wedding will be in the fall.
Mr. Easom is the son of Mr. J.H. Easom and a sister of Mrs. H.G. Gray of this city. He spent his boyhood days here and has a host of friends who will read the above announcement with interest. Mr. Easom is assistant pastor and financial secretary of the First Baptist church of Asheville.
Editor’s Note: The prospective bridegroom’s last name was spelled “Eason” on first reference and then “Easom” after that. I’m not sure which is correct.
