Altar of Liberty in Madison Square, N.Y., and Liberty Loan Drive, 1918

From the front page of The Commonwealth, Scotland Neck, N.C., Nov. 26, 1918. Do you recognize the flag--red and white stripes and just one star? This is the flag of Liberia, one of our Allies in Africa.
