Mr. W.B. Lassiter Dead

Mr. W.B. Lassiter, an old Confederate veteran, died at his home here Wednesday night. He had been out at work during the day and was on his way home when he fell from an automobile truck on which he was riding. It is thought his death was due to the shock from the fall combined with his old age, as upon examination there appeared to be no bruises or bones broken. He was a prominent citizen, was 76 years old and is survived by his wife and two sons.
