Nov. 27, 1918
Liverpool,
England, Nov. 23—Several thousand American soldiers sailed for home today on
the liners Lapland and Minehaha. It was a stirring scene as the men marched
from the railway station and local camps to the landing stage amid rousing
cheers from the throngs of people along the streets.
