To Form Clubs in Catawba County

The last week in January has been selected for the organization of club work in Catawba county. The intention is to organize in a few districts in each township a community club which shall include a man’s club, a woman’s club, and clubs for boys and girls. Mr. H.H.B. Mask, assistant state agent, Mr. A.G. Oliver, state poultry club agent, will accompany us in making the rounds to the school houses which have been chosen for such organization. Men, women and children are expected to attend these meetings. Please show your interest in the work we are undertaking to do by being present at your school house at the time set for your meeting. A circular letter with reference to this matter has been sent to all the teachers in the county and by this time the public should be informed as to the importance of community cooperation and organization along the lines of agriculture and home economics.
