Resumes Profession

Dr. Clyde F. Ross, formerly Captain Ross of the G.U. service here, has re-entered the profession in his home city of Richmond, Va., where he has established an office in the Professional building.

Officers Discharged

Four more of the officers’ personnel of the U.S. Army Base Hospital were successful in securing their permanent discharges from the service of the U.S. army during the past week and have returned to their respective homes to resume the practice of medicine there. They are Captain Robert Watt, who left for Philadelphia, Penn.; Capt. Charles Candler who returned to his former home in Statesville, N.C.; Lieut. Clarence Thomas, who traveled west to Cheyenne, Wyo.; and Lieut. Thomas McGurl, who expected to resume his practice at Minersville, Penn.

Transferred to Capitol

Lieutenant Arthur Guerra, formerly ward surgeon in one of the “B” row wards, has been transferred from this station to the Army Medical School at Washington, D.C.

Absent on Leave

First Lieutenant Frederick Wolf of the Sanitary Corps, who is assigned to duty at the laboratory, has been granted a 10-day leave of absence and has returned to his former home at Montgomery, Ala., for that period.

Sees Old Friends

Captain Evans, formerly receiving officer of the hospital, who was transferred to Hoboken, N.J., some time ago, had occasion to accompany a number of patients from that station to Camp Greene. One of them was taken ill and Captain Evans brought him to the hospital, thus having the opportunity of seeing some of his old friends and acquaintances at the receiving ward in and about the hospital.
