John W. Edwards, aged 68, died at his residence on North Williams street yesterday (Feb. 6) afternoon at 4:20 o’clock. Mr. Edwards was well known and highly respected in this city where he had been a resident for many years. He is survived by his wife and two daughters, Mrs. Geo E. Gardner and Mrs. C.A. Humphry.
The funeral of C.D. Taylor, an aged and highly respected citizen, took place from the late residence on South William street at 11 o’clock today (Feb. 7), and was one of the largest attended in this city for a number of years. The funeral was conducted by Rev. Mr. McIntyre and Rev. Mr. Adams. Mr. Taylor died early yesterday morning (Feb. 6) at his home. He is survived by his wife and a number of children.
