After a lingering illness and much suffering, Jane Kimrey died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Daffron, near Oakdale, on the 7th, and was buried in Mt. Zion Cemetery on the 8th, funeral conducted by Rev. Wm. Pike.
Also, Roxie Shoffner was buried in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery on the 8th. She died from burns.
Clyde Kimrey had the misfortune of fracturing his leg while he and his brother were sawing down trees in the woods. Drs. Foster and Shepherd set the fractured bone, and he is getting on nicely.
Oakdale received a nice amount from the box party Saturday night to be used for the benefit of the school.
