Mr. Crocker went out to investigate and the dog tried to attack him. He shot the dog. It was of the shepherd dog variety. Mr. Crocker ‘phoned for the city sanitary department to come and get the body. The animal was accompanied by another dog.
Because of the report of mad dogs in several parts of the county recently and also n the city, Mr. Crocker took no chances on the dog’s getting away.
