Tenderloin, Sirloin Steak, 30 Cents a Pound, Feb. 20, 1921

Take a look at the ads for groceries. Pint of Wesson oil, 30 cents; quart of Wesson oil, 60 cents. 24 pounds of flour, $1.45. A peck of Irish potatoes, 35 cents, or a peck of sweet potatoes, 50 cents. 3 cans of tomatoes, or sweet corn, or English peas, 50 cents. A dozen eggs, 50 cents. Canned Delmonte peaches, 3 for $1, pineapple, 40 cents a can. Ritters pork and beans, 10 cents. Sliced bacon, 45 cents a pound. Three coops of nice fat hens, 33 cents a pound. Best cuts tenderloin and sirloin steak, 30 cents a pound. Pure pork sausage, 30 cents a pound. Veal chops, 25 cents a pound. Lamb roast, 25 cents a pound. Cured ham, sliced, 40 cents a pound. Fresh fish, 15 to 18 cents a pound.
