Salisbury, August 6—A Raleigh chemist who analyzed the stomach of Mrs. Cleero Carter, a Rowan woman whose death Coroner Newman investigated, found no trace of poison according to information received today by Prosecuting Attorney McCubbins.
Mrs. Carter’s husband has been held without bail awaiting the report, but he will not be liberated now because there are several other charges against him even if the authorities decide not to hold him on the charge of murder.
