There were 16 members of the graduating class of the Rich Square High School in 1921, 10 girls and six boys. A majority of these boys and girls have already decided on what they will do next year. Three out of the number will teach—Misses Phoebe Tanner, Bruce Johnson and Vivian Conner. These girls having taken the Teacher Training course offered by the high school will receive State Certificates to teach without further examination.
Those that will be in college are as follows:
Fannie Anderson, Meredith College;
Ethel Grizzard, Louise Millar, and Irma Worrell, East Carolina Teachers Training School;
Gladys Futrell, Guilford College;
Myra Benthall, Chowan College;
Walter Conner, Guilford College;
