The concert Tuesday night, March 14th, is given by the musical men and women of Concord in loving and grateful remembrance to the war heroes who gave their lives for freedom. These singers give to the public of (line obscured) and your presence at the concert.
In addition to an evening’s entertainment, you will have added to the fund now being launched in the town and county for the Memorial Chimes, that your children’s children may hear ring. A program which includes soloists Mrs. N. Sloane, Miss Grace Kohn, Miss Helen Patterson, Miss Koln featuring in Indian melodies, and Miss Patterson in Harry Lauder songs with chorus accompaniment.
The chorus, which includes 40 of the city’s best voices, will sing three numbers: Hail Bright Above from Tanuhanser by Richard Wagner; Hallelujah Chorus by Handel; Bridal Chorus from The Rose Maiden by F.H. Corven. A complete announcement of the program will be given later.
