We say opening and without fear of the Prohibitionists that Fayetteville is no longer a dry town, for the public drinking fountains are all installed—one at Liberty Point, one at the old Market House, one at the court house, one corner of Bow and Green streets, one near the post office, and one at the Atlantic Coast Line passenger station.
And somehow we can’t but feel some pride in making this announcement, for at the risk of being wearisome The Observer has persistently hammered away to have the fountains installed.
