Aberdeen, N.C., Aug. 3—Gov. Cameron Morrison today offered a reward of $100 fore each member of the mob of men who late yesterday kidnapped and flogged five Seaboard Air Line workmen at Manly, near Southern Pines, and prevented them from repairing a locomotive.

None of the men was seriously injured and after receiving medical attention all returned to Raleigh last night.

Sheriff Blue stated this morning that the men who whipped with a large “black jack oak” and all their backs were terribly bruised. It was at first reported that one of the men was so badly hurt that he might die.
