Funeral services were held at 2 o’clock this afternoon for little Alta Oncal Silman at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.M. Silman, 908 South Main street. The services were conducted by Rev. T.J. Rogers and Rev. Mr. Howard, assistant pastor of the Wesley Memorial church. Interment was in Oakwood cemetery.
Pallbearers were as follows: John Brown, Odis Clemments, Griffith Stroud, Will Wood.
From the front page of the High Point Enterprise, Aug. 26, 1922. Was it supposed to be Otis Clemments? Perhaps, but the newspaper spelled it Odis.
