Realization that Mt. Mitchell water, such as is used so bountifully in Asheville, has qualities which make it the most desirable for the manufacture of soft drinks, a large corporation is now negotiating for the establishment of a ginger ale manufacturing plant in the Land of the Sky at a point where railroad facilities and water supply are close together.
Enlisting the aid of the Southern Railway Development Service and the Asheville Chamber of Commerce, the officials gave indications that such a plant will be likely in this vicinity in the near future if the desired combination can be obtained.
