A drumfish caught at Nags Head Tuesday by Warren H. Jennette Jr. of this city weighed 42 pounds. It was 3 feet, 11 inches long and was landed with a reel in 15 minutes. The big fish snached yung Jeannette, who is 18 years old, sometimes as far as six feet along the ??. This is an unusually large drumfish. Considerable of them are being taken by local sportsmen at Nags Head this year. The fishermen stand on the beach to do their fishing and cast their lines several yards beyond the breakers where the big fish are playing.
