Harry Burgess, Buck Odell Found Guilty of Assault and Attempted Rape of a Little Girl, Aug. 18, 1922
The case of State vs. Harry Burgess and Buck Odell, two young white men of Spray, charged with assault and attempted rape on a little negro girl of that place, was taken up Monday in Superior court. The jury reached a verdict of guilty Tuesday morning.
