Hound Killed at Fire Station; Not Rabid, Aug. 22, 1922

Hound Dog Killed in Fire Station

A large brown hound, said to belong to Cal. Raby near Catawba Springs, ran into the fire station shortly after 1 o’clock this afternoon and was killed by Alvin Warren. Chief Lentz had been out looking for the dog, which has escaped yesterday and was reported staggering along Eighth street today, but it came direct to the fire station. Many women and children were frightened by the dog. It was not mad.
