Nobody has come out and confessed to running down Doctrin Bateman, a Weeksville man, who suffered a compound fracture of one of his legs and sustained painful bruises abut his body Friday night when he was run over by a wildly driven automobile near the fair grounds. Mr. Bateman had been to his sister’s nearby for supper and was returning to his work at the fair grounds when the accident happened. His cries soon brought friends who picked him up and took him to the Community Hospital.
