Misses Leona Graham and Ruby Armsworthy of Kannapolis, N.C., spent the week end with home folks here.

The V.I.S. will meet this week on Friday night instead of Saturday night. Plans will be completed for the community sing to be held on Sunday afternoon Oct. 29, 2:30 p.m. at school auditorium.

Rev. Needham left Monday for conference. He has put in a year’s of fine work on Farmington charge and his people are unanimous for his return. From The Davie Record, Mocksville, N.C., Oct. 18, 1922. Womenless weddings entertained the audience by allowing local men to clown around dressed in women’s attire. Wedding guests Mutt, Jeff, Maggie and Jiggs are characters from a popular cartoon.
