Mrs. Enstace Williams and children spent Wednesday afternoon in Cooleemee.

Mrs. L.A. Hendrix and children made a short stay in Cooleemee Friday morning shopping.

Mr. and Mrs. D.M. Bailey have another new boarder in their home, Hugh Wilburn, this is their seventh son.

Mr. and Mrs. Jno. Parks and Mrs. B.W. Leonard spent Monday in Winston-Salem.

Mrs. Geo. W. Minor has been suffering from a fall last week, but is improving.

Several of our young people accompanied by our two charming lady school teachers, Misses Shermer and Petree, went opossum hunting Friday night, so I guess the hunting season will have to close now, there will be no game to find.

Gurneo R. Pack is having his dwelling remodeled, which will add greatly to its appearance.

Mrs. L.M. Hege is spending two weeks with relatives in Guilford County.

C.L. Smith spent Thursday in Winston-Salem.

Chas. F. Swicegood of Cooleemee was in our village this week on business.

Mrs. M.M. Anderson and Mrs. Ann White made a business trip to Winston-Salem this week.
