Unionville, Route 2--Mr. Clyde L. Simpson, who was accidentally shot in the back of the head with a rifle in the hands of a companion while out hunting on Christmas day, went to a Charlotte hospital one day last week and had the bullet removed. The ball had lodged against the skull and was considerably flattened by the blow. Mr. Simpson is getting along alright and no serious consequences are anticipated.
