John Cameron, Lee White Elected to State Offices by Masons, Jan. 20, 1923

Two Local Masons Honored by Grand Lodge at Raleigh. . . John Cameron Junior Warden—Rev. Lee White Associate Grand Chaplain. . . Orphan Singers Make Lot of Money in a Year

Raleigh, Jan. 18—Dr. Hubert M. Poteat of Wake Forest was last night elected grand master of the North Carolina Masons.

John E. Cameron of Kinston was named Junior grand warden, and Rev. Lee White, of that city, associate grand chaplain.

Other grand officers include J. LeG. Everett of Rockingham, deputy grand master; Leon Cash, Winston-Salem, senior grand warden; B.R. Lacy, Raleigh, grand treasurer; W.W. Willson, Raleigh, grand treasurer.

The grand lodge concluded its annual session this morning. It was stated at the meeting last night that the singing class of Oxford Orphanage had earned $30,000 in concerts during the last fiscal year. Hundreds of fraternitymen from all over the State attended the grand lodge.
