76 Parents and Children Burned to Death at Cleveland School House, May 21, 1923

The school horror at Cleveland school house, near Camden in Kershaw County, S.C., is appalling and grows daily. Seventy-six parents and children were burned in a fire on account of a crushed stairway, the only exit.
