The concert given at the school auditorium Friday evening for the Play Ground fund was one of the finest ever given in Waynesville by local talent, and $35 net was made to help beautify the school grounds. Everyone appearing on the program made a hit and was encored. Mr. Bokenek of Wilmington, a new comer, scored with his violin selections.
