The Schulhofer building at the corner of East and Main streets is rapidly growing where an old, decrepit wooden structure stood. The Phillips Construction Co. is exhibiting speed, but not at the risk of poor work. The brick walls are climbing skyward each day and progress is very marked. There are five storerooms and contracts are signed for them already. Most of the office rooms on the second floor are also rented in advance.
Mr. Schulhofer is personally helping to advance the work and is furnishing the materials as fast as needed. This new building will soon be occupied and will present an imposing appearance.
