Elizabeth City’s Mayor for the next two years will have both hands full, and some more thrown in. Mayor Goodwin was re-elected on May 15 to serve a second term. Elizabeth City in the next two years will spend nearly a million dollars for municipally owned public utility plants, and Mayor Goodwin will have the honor of heading the city administration thru what is called the most important period to date in the city’s history.
