Miss Laura Dennis of Asheville died at the home of her sister, Mrs. John Bean, Saturday morning at 5 o’clock. Funeral services were conducted there, after which she was brought to Waynesville where she was buried at Green Hill cemetery. The services were conducted here by Rev. R.H. Herring. Miss Dennis was a member of the Baptist church, a woman of splendid character, and one who had many friends who mourn her loss.
