Mr. M.L. Heiner and Dr. S.L. Martin left yesterday to spend a week at Buffalo Lithia Springs, Va.

Miss Lucinda Martin of Greensboro spent the past week end with her parents, Dr. and Mrs. S.L. Martin.

The Thimble Club will meet Tuesday at 4 o’clock with Mrs. B.F. Ivie at her home on Bridge St.

Mrs. S.M. Hampton, who is attending summer school in Greensboro, spent the past week end here with her family.

Mr. and Mrs. R.L. Snead of Reidsville are spending several days in Leaksville as the guests of Mr., and Mrs. George H. Clark on Boone road.

Mr. Fred Woodson of Martinsville was visiting in Leaksville yesterday.

Mr. J. Frank Wilson of Fieldale spent Sunday in Leaksville visiting friends.

The Young People’s Chapter of the Daughters of the Confederacy will meet with Misses Lucile and Henriet Reid, Tuesday afternoon at the Carolina Home.

Miss Anice Trent of Reidsville is visiting Miss Ruth Farrell for several days.

Mr. James Fagge and Mr. Robert Fagge of Draper were visiting Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Fagge yesterday.

Mrs. F.M. Flinn and Mrs. J.G. Farrell were visiting Mrs. Flinn’s mother, Mrs. DeShazo, in Stoneville Saturday afternoon.

Master Wilson Wade has returned from the country after spending a week with his uncle, Mr. Yountz.

Miss Ruth Farrell had as her dinner guests Sunday evening Misses Minnie Price of Winston Salem, Anice Trent of Reidsville and Bessie Clark.

Mrs. John P. Price of Winston Salem is visiting her mother, Mrs. Laura Scott, for several weeks.

Mr. Junior Norman of Greensboro spent the past week end in Leaksville visiting friends.

Mr. and Mrs. P.V. Godfrey spent the day Sunday at Park Springs Beach near Danville.

The Border Book Club will meet Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock with Mrs. French in the Meadows.

Miss Lee Aycock of Columbia, S.C., is visiting her sister, Mrs. Ava Scott at the Colonade for the summer.

Misses Pipken, Gladys Brantley and Venie Jackson spent the past week end at the Playground as the guest of Prof. and Mrs. B.H. Johnson.

Miss Cecilia Scott of Reidsville will arrive today to spend several days with Henriet and Lucile Reid at the Carolina Home.

Mr. Leslie Barksdale spent the week end in Greensboro with his wife, who is attending summer school. They spent a few hours Sunday in Lexington with their little daughter Mary Jane, who is with her grand mother.
