New Barber Shop on Boulevard Will Feature Four Barbers, First Class Bathing Parlor, July 9, 1923

The Boulevard’s New Barber Shop

The Boulevard can now boast of an up-to-date barber shop nearing completion. The shaving parlor is now in good shape and is being used although water connections have not been made.

The basement is to be used as a first class bathing parlor. This then will be the first barber shop in town with baths attached.

It would seem as if the Boulevard barbers turned a practical business deal uniting the two barber shops and making one good shop of the two.

George C. Saunders and H.P. Kendrick, who had a shop across the street from the present location, have joined with Messrs. J.A. Southard and J.S. Parker, proprietors of the new shop, and together they are opening four chairs.

Their building has just been completed and is large with good light and ventilation. The enterprise merits success as well as four barbers that are fine workmen.
