A message received at 2 o’clock this morning from Mr. A.C. Spruill of this city, who is not at Oriental, announced the death of his father, Mr. James Spruill shortly before the message was filed.
Mr. Spruill was injured in an automobile wreck some time ago, and pneumonia developed, from which he died as above stated.
The deceased is survived by six children, four boys and two girls.
The funeral will be held Thursday from his former home in Oriental.
