Unless predictions made by the attending physician prove incorrect, Stephen Daniels Langston, white man of the Eureka section who suffered a fractured skull when struck in the head with a ? round in the hands of Jack Whitley, also white, a few days ago, will recover.
It was at first thought that Langston’s condition was of such a critical nature that he stood less than an even chance of recovery. However, he has been holding his own and a report from the home yesterday was to the effect that he would very likely recover.
Whitley is at liberty on bail in the sum of $1,000.
