W.T.J. Eaton of Banks’ Store Community, is co-operating with the Extension Service in trying out 14 different fertilizers for tobacco in Franklin County. The fertilizer was put in May 8 and the tobacco set the following day. The tobacco is growing rapidly and those who are interested in watching it develop are invited to meet on Mr. Eaton’s farm Monday, July 6th, 1925, at 4:30 p.m. E.G. Moss, Director, Tobacco Branch Station, Oxford, N.C., will be there to explain the different fertilizes. With him will be H.A. McGee, his assistant, and Dr. W.F. Pate, in charge of Soil Tests, Raleigh, N.C.
This is an opportunity to meet the Extension Leaders in tobacco and to see the fertilizers in Franklin County. Everybody come. Your farm agent will be there also.
