The play, “Little Women,” was presented by the students of Mont Amoena Seminary Wednesday night before a large audience at the Auditorium in Mt. Pleasant. The play proved one of the most delightful attractions in that town in several years.
Starring as Jo was Alma Tucker, who gave a splendid interpretation of the part. Miss Tucker is from Mt. Pleasant. Miss Elizabeth Hedrick of Gold Hill was good a Laurie.
The play was directed by Miss Clara Sullivan, assisted by Capt. Haner, who trained the girls in the men’s parts.
