Spencer, Dec. 21—Some 2,000 employes of the Southern Railway began a week’s holiday today, the shops having closed until December 28 with the exception of an emergency force. Numbers of the employes have gone to Florida and other states to spend the week, while still others are visiting relatives in nearby places.
