Mr. Whitefield Stubbs died at the home of his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. S.A. Snead, on last Friday evening, Dec. 18, after a long illness.
r. Stubbs was a good man, esteemed by a large circle of friends. He came to live with his sister only a few months ago. His remains were carried to Maxton for burial.
