Private Winfrey
Martin, son of Mrs. K.T. Martin of Graham, is reported slightly wounded in
France.
Willard Goley, son of Dr. and Mrs. W.R. Goley, was heard
from a few days ago. He had been gassed and was in a hospital. He wrote himself
and said he was improving.
Mr. Henry M. Moser received letters from his sons Kenneth
and Ammon yesterday. Both are in France. The letters were written a month ago.
Kenneth was reported wounded in August, but in his letter, written a month
later, he said nothing about having been wounded. Ammon tells in his letter
that Kenneth was gassed and was in a hospital about 10 days. In that Kenneth
says nothing about it and writes cheerfully, it is taken that he has entirely
recovered.
