Last evening at the Country Club Mr. B.T. Smith entertained
in honor of the Swindell-Gold bridal party. There were present Mr. F.D.
Swindell with Miss Elizabeth Gold, Mr. B.T. Smith with Miss Virginia Davis, Mr.
John Hackney with Miss Margaret Gold, Mr. A.T. Harper with Mrs. R.C. Dunn of
Enfield, Dr. M. Saliba with Mrs. Ruth Spicer of Goldsboro, Mr. and Mrs. John
Bruton, Mr. and Mrs. E.K. Wright, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Davis.
