Ellen B. Simons
Our hearts are crushed and our home made sad by the passing
away of our dear little girl, Ellen B. Simons, on September 26, 1919.
The angels took thy spirit safely to the other side. She
said she wanted to be a little sunbeam, but a bright little angel in Heaven
just two weeks ago, tonight, God called our darling home, to live with Him on
High, where they never say good bye.
How we miss you Ellen, darling, Nights seem long and days so
drear; mother wants you precious darling. She misses you everywhere.
You have left us sad and lonely;
No one can fill your place,
The long nights will soon be over,
Then we hope to see your face.
I can see you, dearest darling,
There among the angels’ band,
Beckoning us to come up higher
Holding out her snowy hand.
Mother and Father
