Howard Hull Takes Over Forest City Courier, Aug. 7, 1921

Howard Hull Comes Back Home

The Forest City Courier has been taken over by our good friend Howard Hull, who for several years was foreman of The News commercial printing department. Mr. Hull went to Florida from here to raise vegetables and to enjoy the balmy breezes in the land of the palms. Like all others, however, who have ever had their hands dipped in the ink, he soon wearied of digging a livelihood from the soil and was dropped back into line by acquiring controlling interest of this weekly news paper up the way. Mr. Hull has qualifications as a discipline of the printing art and as an observant, thinking citizen that ought to conspire to the production of a very influential newspaper in Rutherford County.
