Mrs. Mary Archer Saunders, aged 84 years, died in Burlington last Sunday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jas. N. Williamson Jr. She had been an invalid for several years. Mrs. Saunders was the widow of E.A. Saunders of Richmond, Va., who was a large and successful wholesale grocery merchant of that city. The remains were carried to Richmond Monday night. Mrs. Saunders is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Williamson of Burlington, and two sons who live in Richmond. Mrs. J.W. Menefee of Graham accompanied the family with the remains to Richmond.
