M.P. Sharp of Hickory, Route 1, was given a preliminary hearing before United States Commissioner John F. Miller, charged with violating the National prohibition act and was bound to the next term of the U.S. District court, which will convene in Statesville on the third Monday in April. He was released on a $500 bond.
