Charlotte, Oct. 3—Merchants Day at the Made-in-Carolinas Exposition here today brought numbers of dealers from both states to hear Lewis Hahn of New York City, a dry goods authority, deliver an address on the business problem of the day.
Many of the visitors were invited to meet Mr. Hahn at a luncheon and the program for the afternoon at the exposition auditorium included addresses by S.B. Burton of Asheville, president of the North Carolina Merchants’ Association, and by J.H. Hope of Columbia, president of the South Carolina Merchants’ Association.
