Winston-Salem—James Stafford of Kernersville was killed and Walter Young of Stokesdale sustained a crushed leg when an automobile in which they were riding turned over at a curve in the road near Kernersville.
Stafford and Young [were] accompanied by three other men en route from Greensboro to Kernersville when the accident occurred. Abe Young, Guy Stafford and Fred Bradstreet, the other occupants of the car, escaped serious injuries. James Stafford and Walter Young were under the machine. The latter was taken to Greensboro for hospital treatment.
